When considering the desires of growing families, ranch home plan the Camrose offers families everything they are looking for. This one story house plan provides both formal and informal living areas and with flexible rooms offering homeowners the opportunity to change how they live in this home over time, even providing the ability to age-in-place.
The kitchen, family room, and dining room are all centrally located. The separate master bedroom and vaulted living room, spaces where silence is valued most, are located towards the front of the home, removed from the higher energy sounds and activities of the main living areas.
Two additional bedrooms, complete with built-in desks, are located near the family room and kitchen. Both have a direct entrance to the Jack-and-Jill bathroom which provides privacy to two people at once -- a bonus to families with older children.
The Camrose provides three different eating areas, with the vaulted dining room offering the most formal setting, the nook providing a more casual space for regular meals, and the informal peninsular eating bar for quick bits. Highlights of the enormous kitchen include oven and range in a central work island, a second oven, ample counter space, a corner walk-in pantry, microwave, and dishwasher. The pass-through utility room is conveniently located by the garage allowing it to act as a mud room.
During good weather, it is easy to extend the family room to the outdoors through a single set of double doors which lead to the deck. When the weather starts to turn and the days get a little colder, the centrally located fireplace can be enjoyed in the kitchen in addition to the family room.
The living room and the luxurious master suite both feature vaulted ceilings and dramatic lighting by tall, arched windows. The enormous master bedroom includes a generous walk-in closet and two separate vanities. One included with the shower and toilet; the other near the soaking tub.
This classic, ranch house plan also boasts a naturally bright entry and a flex room which can be used as a home office, media room, study, playroom or any other type of space a growing family needs.
