Construction Drawing Packages:
Each plan set is drawn at 1/4"=1' scale and includes the following drawings:
Artist's Rendering: An artist's drawing of the home, usually viewed from the front, and general construction notes.
Elevations: Shows the front, sides, and rear, including exterior materials, trim sizes, roof pitches, etc.
Main Floor Plan: Shows placement and dimensions of walls, doors, & windows. Includes the location of appliances, plumbing fixtures, beams, ceiling heights, etc.
Second Floor Plan (if any): Shows the second floor in the same detail as the main floor. Includes second floor framing and details.
Foundation Plan: Shows the location of all concrete footings, floor beams, first floor framing, and foundation details. If there is a basement, a basement plan is included which shows all basement details.
Floor Framing Plan (if any): Shows location and spacing of floor joists and supporting walls or beams.
Roof Framing Plan: Shows roof outlines, conventional framing/trusses, beams, roof framing details, etc.
Section & Details: Shows a cross-section of the home. Shows support members, exterior and interior materials, insulation, and foundation. Specific details such as fireplaces, stairways, decks, etc. are drawn at 1/2" = 1' scale, and appear as needed throughout the prints.
Electrical Plan: A schematic layout of all lighting, switches and electrical outlets.

Floor Plan (s)
The concept plan package can save you valuable time and resources by providing the essentials of the design allowing for a local designer, architect, or engineer to complete the construction documents to the building practices, requirements, and site conditions in your area. Concept plans include an unlimited build license (non-transferable).
Stone wainscot, horizontal lap siding, low pitched roof, and an array of glass combine to create the eye-catching façade of this modern prairie house plan. The Alderwood is a one-story home plan that is sure to be a favorite of both homeowners and builders.
Inside the foyer is open and spacious. To the right, a set of pocket doors opens to the den. This space offers flexibility to the homeowners’ and can be furnished as a home office, study, library, hobby room or whatever else suites. A few steps further down the entry hall an opening to the left leads to the secondary bedrooms and a shared compartmentalized bathroom. A coat closet is at the end of the hall.
The back of the floor plan opens up to the great room. Living room, dining room, and kitchen are all open to each other creating a casual and informal gathering space. The living room is decorated with a tray ceiling and features a fireplace that can be enjoyed throughout the great room. The kitchen boasts an island with eating bar along with a corner walk-in pantry. A double sliding glass door off the dining room opens the space up to the covered patio extending the living area outside during warm summer days.
Off the dining room, a short hallway leads to the owners’ suite. This comfortable retreat features a private bathroom complete with soaking tub, walk-in shower, private toilet, and dual vanities. At the back of the bathroom is the generous sized walk-in closet.
Back in the kitchen, an opening leads to the mud hall. Here a drop zone helps to organize electronics and bags. A pocket door leads to the large utility room with folding counter and sink. At the end of the mud hall is access to the attached two-car garage.
