Each plan set is drawn at 1/4"=1' scale and includes the following drawings:
Artist's Rendering: An artist's drawing of the home, usually viewed from the front, and general construction notes.
Elevations: Shows the front, sides, and rear, including exterior materials, trim sizes, roof pitches, etc.
Main Floor Plan: Shows placement and dimensions of walls, doors, & windows. Includes the location of appliances, plumbing fixtures, beams, ceiling heights, etc.
Second Floor Plan (if any): Shows the second floor in the same detail as the main floor. Includes second floor framing and details.
Foundation Plan: Shows the location of all concrete footings, floor beams, first floor framing, and foundation details. If there is a basement, a basement plan is included which shows all basement details.
Floor Framing Plan (if any): Shows location and spacing of floor joists and supporting walls or beams.
Roof Framing Plan: Shows roof outlines, conventional framing/trusses, beams, roof framing details, etc.
Section & Details: Shows a cross-section of the home. Shows support members, exterior and interior materials, insulation, and foundation. Specific details such as fireplaces, stairways, decks, etc. are drawn at 1/2" = 1' scale, and appear as needed throughout the prints.
Electrical Plan: A schematic layout of all lighting, switches and electrical outlets.
The Stinson is a contemporary townhome plan that boasts an exquisite exterior. Its stunning facade is flanked with panels and a combination of horizontal and vertical siding, while its roof is covered with composition shingles. These charming details invite a second look and lend to the modern feel of this two story house plan.
A sun tube is located at the back of the home, ensuring the house will be bathed in natural light. An ornamental guardrail is attached to the exterior partition. The covered porch is eloquently framed with columns. The porch protects guests from rain, sleet, and summer heat.
Entering through the foyer, you will find yourself in the charming kitchen. The bright, airy kitchen contains built-in appliances, a flushed eating bar, and a wine cooler. Nearby, there is a powder room.
The Great Room is a heavily windowed, open space. The room, complete with a fireplace, is a perfect spot to entertain. The area feeds out to the patio and on warm, sunny days it can act as an extension of Stinson’s interior.
The main floor also houses the Owner’s Suite. This space, separated from the other bedrooms, offers a sense of privacy and tranquility. The Suite’s luxurious amenities include an impressive walk-in closet and a private bath with a deep shower and dual vanities.
A mudroom, with a washer and dryer set, can also be found on the first floor. This room, also, provides added storage and direct access to the attached two car garage.
The upstairs area consists of two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a loft, and a recreation room. One bedroom has a step-in closet, while the other has a walk-in closet. Both bathrooms have a tub and shower combo. The loft is suitable for a playroom, sitting area, or another entertainment space. The recreation room has a wet bar, a stacking washer/dryer set, and separate stair access to the exterior. This room is ideal for a caretaker’s suite or home office.
