*Plans are drafted to meet average conditions and building codes in Nebraska, Ohio, and Texas at the time they are designed (contact us for more information). Because codes and requirements can change and may vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction, the designers cannot warrant compliance with any specific code or regulation. All plans can be adapted to your local building codes and requirements. It is the responsibility of the purchaser and/or builder of each plan to see that the structure is built in strict compliance with all governing municipal codes (city, county, state, and federal).
Stucco and stone blend to create an exterior for the Hester that puts one in mind of sunny climates. This Tuscan house plan is sure to be a favorite of homeowners and builders a like.
Columns with stone bases frame the front door. Stepping inside the entry is large enough for a bench if one is desired. Straight ahead the entry opens up to the open, great room. The family room features a fireplace that is sure to be the focal point during cold, winter evenings. The transition to the kitchen or dining room is seamless allowing conversations to flow between the three rooms. The dining room has access to the back covered patio allowing for outdoor dining on warm summer evenings. The kitchen is framed by an island that contains the sink and dish washer in addition to the eating bar. A corner walk-in pantry adds to the ample cabinet storage.
A cased opening in the kitchen leads to the mud hall. Here you’ll find room for a bench along with a drop zone, ideal for corralling shoes, purses and keys. Just around the corner is the laundry room with built-in washer and dryer. The attached three car garage with additional storage is also accessed through the mud hall.
Back inside, a cased opening off the dining room leads to a hallway with two additional bedrooms plus a full bathroom.
The floor plan of this one story house plan is ideally arranged with the master suite on the opposite side of the home from the other bedrooms. Back at the entry and to the left, the master suite is accessed just off the family room. This retreat features a tray ceiling and has a private bathroom with tub, twin sinks, shower and private toilet. Accessed from the master bathroom is a large walk-in closet.
