Each plan set is drawn at 1/4"=1' scale and includes the following drawings:
Artist's Rendering: An artist's drawing of the home, usually viewed from the front, and general construction notes.
Elevations: Shows the front, sides, and rear, including exterior materials, trim sizes, roof pitches, etc.
Main Floor Plan: Shows placement and dimensions of walls, doors, & windows. Includes the location of appliances, plumbing fixtures, beams, ceiling heights, etc.
Second Floor Plan (if any): Shows the second floor in the same detail as the main floor. Includes second floor framing and details.
Foundation Plan: Shows the location of all concrete footings, floor beams, first floor framing, and foundation details. If there is a basement, a basement plan is included which shows all basement details.
Floor Framing Plan (if any): Shows location and spacing of floor joists and supporting walls or beams.
Roof Framing Plan: Shows roof outlines, conventional framing/trusses, beams, roof framing details, etc.
Section & Details: Shows a cross-section of the home. Shows support members, exterior and interior materials, insulation, and foundation. Specific details such as fireplaces, stairways, decks, etc. are drawn at 1/2" = 1' scale, and appear as needed throughout the prints.
Electrical Plan: A schematic layout of all lighting, switches and electrical outlets.
Hampshire is an authentic, sophisticated ranch home plan. Its exterior boasts many charming details, such as concrete tile, arched top window trim, window shutters, and louvered attic vents with raised brick trim. Lap siding flanks the facade. Captivating brick detailing, including raised arched brick trim and brick veneer wainscot with turned cap, adorn the home. The covered porch offers protection from rain, sleet, and summer heat and is large enough to be furnished with outdoor seating.
Hampshire’s interior is comfortable and classic. The stunning foyer feeds into the vaulted Great Room. This spacious area acts as the focal point of the home. The space is perfect for parties or small gatherings. The Great Room acts as a point of entrance out to the wood deck which on nice summer days is an extension of the home’s interior. Guests will be delighted to be able to relax outside and take in the beautiful view.
The Great Room seamlessly opens to the charming kitchen. The fluidity between the two areas gives a sense of unity to the home. The bright, airy kitchen contains built-in appliances, ample counter space, an island, and a nook. The cozy kitchen nook is the perfect spot to accommodate casual dining, while the formal dining room is nearby towards the front of the home.
Continuing to the right, you will find a deep pantry, a powder room, and the utility room. The utility room contains a washer and dryer set. On the opposite side of the kitchen, a mud hall connects the living area of the home to the attached two car garage. A set of stairs runs along the back of the garage and up to a storage room.
The left side of this home plan is filled with a den, a bedroom, a bathroom, and an impressive Owners’ Suite. The den is a multi-functional area and can be furnished to fit the needs of an additional bedroom, a private entertainment area, or a home office. The Owner's’ Suite has many luxurious amenities including an enviable walk-in closet and a private bathroom with a walk-in shower and dual vanities.
Hampshire’s walkout basement is designed for a rear sloping lot and adds additional flexibility to the home and can be finished to the homeowners’ desire.
