The Hemingway 2 triplex plan offers an exceptional multi-family living solution with 2,564 square feet of total heated space intelligently divided into three distinct one-bedroom, one-bathroom residences. This single-story design features three thoughtfully proportioned units measuring 864, 859, and 841 square feet respectively, each showcasing an efficient open-concept layout that maximizes livability within a compact footprint. Inside each residence, the spacious great room flows naturally into a well-appointed kitchen and dining area, creating an airy, connected living space ideal for modern lifestyles. The open floor plan eliminates wasted hallway space while providing comfortable areas for daily living and casual entertaining. Each unit enjoys private outdoor access through individual front porches ranging from thirty to seventy-seven square feet, perfect for morning coffee or greeting neighbors, plus convenient rear stoops for additional access and functionality. Eight-foot ceilings throughout maintain a comfortable scale while keeping construction costs manageable, and the durable truss-framed roof system with classic shingle covering ensures long-lasting protection with minimal maintenance. The timeless exterior features traditional siding that blends seamlessly into established neighborhoods while appealing to contemporary sensibilities. Spanning approximately eighty-four feet wide by thirty-nine feet deep with a manageable ridge height, this efficient triplex design from The House Plan Company serves multiple markets beautifully, including real estate investors seeking rental income opportunities, developers building affordable workforce housing, families wanting to live near elderly parents or adult children while maintaining separate households, or downsizers looking to generate passive income while occupying one unit themselves in a connected yet independent living arrangement.
