CONSTRUCTION DRAWINGS (most plans)
Cover Page. Each home plan features the front elevation and informative reference sections including, general notes and design criteria*, abbreviations, and symbols for your plan.
Elevations. Scaled elevations for the front, rear, and sides are provided. All elevations are detailed and an aerial view of the roof is provided.
Foundations. Foundations are fully engineered for each design, whether slab or basement.
Main Level Floor Plan. The detailed drawings are fully dimensioned for ease of framing. Exterior wall thicknesses vary by plan. If necessary, contact Design Basics to clarify the standard exterior wall thickness for the plan(s) you are interested in.
Second Level Floor Plan. Dimensioned and drafted to the same degree of detail as the main level floor plan*.
Electrical and Sections. Illustrated on a separate page for clarity, the electrical plan shows suggested electrical layout for the main and second level floor plans. Typical wall and stair sections are provided to further explain construction of these areas.

A timeless combination of batt and board and lap siding blend together to give the Telluride Gable an eye-catching exterior. This farmhouse plan is an idyllic one and a half story design with a contemporary floor plan bundled into a footprint perfect for a narrow lot.
Tapered columns with stone bases mark the boundary of the front covered porch which is large enough for a porch swing or set of outdoor chairs. The front door is recessed providing additional shelter for guests from the elements.
Inside the entry is spacious and welcoming. To the left, an opening leads to a short hallway to one of the Telluride Gable’s three bedrooms along with a full bathroom. Towards the end of the entry hall on the right another opening leads to the mud hall outfitted with a drop zone and closet. There is also access to the main floor laundry room and attached two car garage.
At the end of the entry hall, the floor plan opens up to the great room. Living, dining, and kitchen are seamless. Immediately to the left is the kitchen. In addition to modern appliances the kitchen boasts an island and walk-in pantry. The eating area has access to the backyard while the spacious great room features a fireplace that keeps the core of the home bright and warm during cold winter nights.
Off the great room an opening leads to the owners’ suite. A tray ceiling decorates this comfortable retreat that offers a private bathroom with walk-in shower and dual vanities plus a walk-in closet.
On the upper level is the third bedroom. This suite has a private bathroom and walk-in closet.
At only 40’ wide, the Telluride Gable is a great home plan to consider for those building on narrow city lots.
