Because codes and requirements can change and may vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction, the designers cannot warrant compliance with any specific code or regulation. New to plan buying?
This one story house plan is simple and comfortable. Krebs Pointe is a traditional house plan with an open concept floor plan and country charm ideal for those who enjoy informal living and entertaining.
Inside you’ll find a cozy entry that is offset from the living area providing privacy to the gathering space. A few steps in and to the left an opening leads to two of the Kreb Pointe’s bedrooms and a full bathroom. For those who do not need three bedrooms these spaces provided added flexibility to this floor plan. They can serve as hobby rooms, a home office, a guest room or whatever other needs the homeowner’s may have.
Back at the entry, heading straight will bring you by the basement stairs. The basement is unfinished and has the potential to add additional gathering spaces or storage. Beyond the stairs, the floor plan opens up to the great room.
Family room, dining area, and kitchen are all open to each other. The family room features a cozy, corner fireplace which can also be enjoyed in the kitchen. An island with eating bar provides some visual separation between the family room, dining area, and kitchen while adding to some of the informal seating. The eating bar is an ideal place to serve up snacks while entertaining or for supervising homework during school days. The eating area has a door that leads to the backyard and the small covered patio.
Off the kitchen, an opening leads to the mud hall with laundry closet. In addition to a drop zone for organizing and storing electronics, purses, and wallets the mud hall provides access to the home’s attached two car garage.
The Krebs Pointe is rounded out with the owners’ suite. With access separated from the other bedrooms off the family room the owners’ suite is a cozy retreat that boats a private bathroom and walk-in closet.
At only 40’ wide, this home is an ideal choice for construction on a narrow lot.
