Plans Now License Agreement Preview

This is an agreement between You, the end user (hereafter referred to as “You”) and the Designer (hereafter referred to as “Copyrighted Designer”) who prepared this copyrighted design. The Copyrighted Designer has extended permission to The House Plan Company to act as their agent (hereafter referred to as “HPC”). Your signature (digitally) on this agreement means that you agree to be bound by all the terms and conditions of this agreement regarding the copyrighted design. Please note that ALL SALES ARE FINAL.

License Agreement:

HPC grants you permission to use the copyrighted design (hereafter referred to as “Design”) for the construction of Your, or Your clients’ structure, subject to the following terms and conditions. This license is exclusive to the end user(s) listed below and may NOT be sold or transferred to any other user. Permission to use this design is limited to the construction of one structure.

You May:

Use this design for the sole purpose of constructing one structure as allowed by this license.
Provide this design, in whole or part, to others (sub-contractors, suppliers, engineers, and others, here in referred to as “Agents”) for the purpose of allowing them to assist in the estimating and construction of one structure.
Print or make copies of this plan for the sole purpose of constructing one structure.

You May Not:

Sell or transfer this license.
Sell or transfer this Design.
Build more than a single structure from this Design.
Make any modifications or alternations to this Design without the express written consent of HPC or the Copyrighted Designer, except those made by Your builder at the time of construction to address issues specific to your site or building jurisdiction.
Distribute this design in any way or on any media, except as necessary to use this design for construction related purposes.
Imply that the Copyrighted Designer or their agents are responsible for any revisions to the Design, as adapted by You or Your Agents at time of construction to address issues specific to your site or building jurisdiction.
Remove the Copyrighted Designer’s border, copyright, or the logo block that identifies the Design as the Copyrighted Designer’s stock plan or any portion of the Copyrighted Designers’ border, copyright, or the logo block and apply to other projects or distribute to others. All symbols, graphic conventions, and collections of drawn entities contained within these drawings, representing the design, are considered a portion of the whole and are subject to all terms and conditions of this agreement.

Ownership

The Copyrighted Designer retains title to, ownership of, and all other proprietary rights in the original, and all subsequent copies of the Design, and any part thereof, regardless of the form or media in which and on the original and other copies may exist. Title, ownership, and all other proprietary rights remain with the Copyrighted Designer, even if the Design, or any part thereof, are modified by You or Your Agents, or are included in altered designs created or modified by You or Your Agents. This license is not a sale.

General Provisions

In no event shall HPC or any entity under its control, be held liable for any part of this design as modified by You or Your Agents. You are fully responsible for adapting the original Copyrighted Design to the requirements of your building site and any applicable local codes and/or regulations. Failure to comply with any term or condition of this license agreement will automatically terminate this license and will make available to HPC other legal remedies. This license agreement is the entire agreement between HPC and the end user and supersedes any other communications or advertising with respect to this copyrighted design and related documentation. You agree that the laws of the State of Oregon will govern this license agreement. If any provision of this license agreement is held to be invalid, the remainder of this agreement shall continue in full force and effect.
