The Cedar Grove is a timeless, two-story residence that beautifully merges colonial and country styles to create a home that feels both historic and modern. As you approach this elegant home, the stately façade immediately draws you in with its symmetrical design, classic gable roof, and a trio of dormer windows that peer out over the manicured front lawn. The cedar-shingled exterior exudes warmth and rustic charm, framed by lush greenery and mature trees. Imagine a white picket fence bordering the property, adding to the sense of idyllic country living, while the red-brick pathway leading to the front door offers a welcoming touch.
Crossing the threshold, the foyer greets you with high ceilings and a glimpse of the home’s open and airy layout. To the left, a formal dining room awaits, bathed in natural light from large, colonial-style windows. This room, with its understated elegance, is perfect for hosting family dinners or special occasions. The country style shines through with every detail.
Beyond the dining room lies the heart of the Cedar Grove—an expansive great room that opens into the kitchen and breakfast area. This open-concept space is designed for both relaxation and gathering, with a cozy fireplace anchoring the living area, making it the ideal spot for quiet evenings or lively conversations. The kitchen, designed with both style and practicality in mind, offers modern amenities with a farmhouse feel. Stainless steel appliances, a large island, and custom cabinetry make this space perfect for preparing meals while staying connected to family and guests. The adjacent breakfast nook is a delightful spot for casual dining, with views out to the backyard and easy access to the screened porch for those who enjoy alfresco dining.
The screened porch at the rear of the home offers a seamless blend of indoor and outdoor living, with plenty of room for outdoor seating, dining, or simply enjoying the breeze on a warm afternoon. The spacious backyard extends beyond, with ample room for gardening, play, or hosting outdoor gatherings. The Cedar Grove is a home that celebrates outdoor living just as much as it does indoor comfort.
On the main level, tucked away for privacy, is the luxurious master suite. This retreat offers a spacious bedroom with large windows that frame the serene views of the garden. The en-suite bathroom feels like a personal spa, featuring modern fixtures and a soaking tub, perfect for unwinding at the end of the day. A walk-in closet completes the suite, providing plenty of storage and organization space. Also on this level, a second bedroom offers flexibility as a guest room, home office, or nursery, with a nearby full bathroom for convenience.
Heading upstairs, the colonial charm continues. The second floor offers two additional bedrooms, each with its own unique character, sharing a well-appointed bathroom. These rooms, perfect for children or guests, feel cozy and bright, offering privacy and comfort. At the far end of the hall, a future recreation room promises endless possibilities—whether as a game room, home theater, or additional guest space, this unfinished area provides room to grow and adapt as your needs change.
Every detail of the Cedar Grove has been thoughtfully designed to create a home that feels both timeless and contemporary. The colonial style lends a sense of history and tradition, while the country style adds warmth and charm, making this home the perfect blend of the two. Whether hosting family gatherings, enjoying a quiet evening by the fire, or spending time outdoors, the Cedar Grove is a home where memories are made, and life unfolds at a peaceful, intentional pace
The little lamb was disowned by his mother... This wee little thing was given to my Aunt in hopes that he could be given a healthy life at Cedar Grove. Well, not only was he healthy, but happy beyond belief. This little black lamb became a big black sheep that thought my Aunt was his mother and that he remained small enough to run and jump into her arms. One day, surprising them both, the lawn chair broke beneath them when he leapt into her lap.
