Frontenac 3 takes the popular elements from Craftsman and farmhouse style plans and blends them with a twist of modern style. Vertical siding, stone accents, and raw timber highlights blend to make this home as gorgeous on the outside as it is functional on the inside.
The main entrance into the house is located under a welcoming covered porch and leads into a foyer with a convenient coat closet. Moving into the house leads directly into the living room. The open concept floor plan means the living room flows directly into the dining room. The two rooms are distinguished from each other by a unique and modern see-through fireplace which can be enjoyed from either area. At the back of the dining room is a sliding glass door that leads onto an enjoyable covered terrace overlooking the backyard. To the side of the dining room is the kitchen. At the center of the kitchen is a large island with a raised eating bar. Surrounding the island is ample counter space and storage, including an extra-large walk-in pantry.
The bedrooms are on the second floor, up the stairs located in the living room. Two standard bedrooms are located on one side of the house, each with individual walk-in closets. Between the two are washer and dryer hook-ups for convenient laundry access. The master suite takes up the other side of the house and includes a walk-in closet and a private master bath. The master bath has a walk-in shower, a relaxing spa tub, and a private toilet.
At the back of the kitchen is the entrance into the house from the garage and a half-bath. The garage is entered from the front of the house and can fit a single car. The garage has a bit of extra depth to allow for some storage. However, additional storage can be found in the unfinished basement of the house. The basement could also be finished, with the addition of a few walls and a bathroom, the area could be transformed into additional bedrooms and living space.
