New to plan buying?
The Lindsay farmhouse plan has a richly windowed front façade which draws you in. A stone fireplace accent and clean lap siding give this home a classic country look. This two story home plan offers homeowners’ flexibility as it is comfortable enough for year round living or as a vacation home.
The large front deck provides extended outdoor living to take in any views along the front of the home. There are two entrances to the Lindsay, one is off the expansive front deck the other is on the left side of the home. The left entry is designed to serve as more of the formal entry as it’s airlock design provides privacy to the core of the home.
If you entry from the more formal, left side entry the air lock opens to a hallway. To the left is a full bathroom with soaking tub and separate shower. Straight ahead is the main floor bedroom. As the larger of the Lindsay’s bedrooms this makes an ideal choice to serve as the master bedroom. Turning to the right the floor plan opens up to the great room.
Living room, dining room and kitchen are one open space. This arrangement is ideal for those who enjoy informal entertaining. The rich window arrangement along one wall keeps this space naturally bright and cheery. A fireplace in the living room keeps the great room bright during the colder winter months.
Along the back of the living room, an L-shaped staircase wraps up to the second floor. The loft is large enough to be furnished as a den or small sitting area. On the upper level are two additional bedrooms each with walk-in closets. There is also a full bathroom with a soaking tub and separate shower.
At only 34 feet wide, the Lindsay is an ideal narrow lot home plan for those building on compact city lots.
