Each plan set is drawn at 1/4"=1' scale and includes the following drawings:
Artist's Rendering: An artist's drawing of the home, usually viewed from the front, and general construction notes.
Elevations: Shows the front, sides, and rear, including exterior materials, trim sizes, roof pitches, etc.
Main Floor Plan: Shows placement and dimensions of walls, doors, & windows. Includes the location of appliances, plumbing fixtures, beams, ceiling heights, etc.
Second Floor Plan (if any): Shows the second floor in the same detail as the main floor. Includes second floor framing and details.
Foundation Plan: Shows the location of all concrete footings, floor beams, first floor framing, and foundation details. If there is a basement, a basement plan is included which shows all basement details.
Floor Framing Plan (if any): Shows location and spacing of floor joists and supporting walls or beams.
Roof Framing Plan: Shows roof outlines, conventional framing/trusses, beams, roof framing details, etc.
Section & Details: Shows a cross-section of the home. Shows support members, exterior and interior materials, insulation, and foundation. Specific details such as fireplaces, stairways, decks, etc. are drawn at 1/2" = 1' scale, and appear as needed throughout the prints.

A slender post frames the entry while creating a covered space for family and friends. Inside the foyer is laid out as an airlock, providing separation from the entry and the main living area. This is a great design feature for those who live in climates where temperatures swing greatly or for families looking to control heating and cooling costs. The foyer offers a coat closet and room for a small bench if desired.
Through the pocket door the floor plan opens up to the great room. Living room, dining room, and kitchen are one seamless space. Up front is the family room with views out the front of the home. The dining room is nestled between the living room and kitchen and has a bay window allowing natural light to fill the space. Next is the kitchen which is filled with plenty of counter space and cabinet storage. The kitchen also features an island with an eating bar plus a sliding glass door off the back wall that provides access to the back deck.
There are two hallways off the great room that lead to the bedroom wing of the home. The hallway between the living room and dining room first leads past the attached one car garage and the laundry room. The master bedroom is off this hallway and features a walk-in closet. Beyond the master bedroom the hallways merge providing access to this small house plans only full bathroom plus two additional bedrooms.
