The Woodlette 2 is a classy A-Frame style house with traditional and craftsman touches. Decorative touches adorn the gables and windows that give this home an inviting look. Minimal square footage makes for a low-maintenance and cozy vacation house plan.
There are two entrances into the house, both are off of a marvelous patio big enough to entertain on. The entrance near the rear of the house enters into a mudroom style entrance. Complete with a built-in coat rack and room for a bench, this area allows visitors to clean up without tracking dirt throughout the house. The second entrance leads directly into the kitchen.
The kitchen is a part of the open style living space. This communal area promotes togetherness and allows for conversation to continue throughout the space. The living room is defined by the two-story-tall vaulted ceilings. The tall, wide windows let in a lot of natural light and warmth into the area. At the back of the main floor, near the other entrance, is a full bath and a bedroom.
Up the stairs, located in the living room, leads to a loft-style second floor. The loft is a good-sized space, optimal for a second living area, office space, or even a bunk room for children. The back of the second floor is dedicated to the second bedroom. Larger than the bedroom downstairs, this room serves as the master bedroom and includes a large walk-in closet. The loft and bedroom are separated by a full bath.
