Elevations: Shows the front, sides, and rear, including exterior materials, trim sizes, roof pitches, etc.
Main Floor Plan: Shows placement and dimensions of walls, doors, & windows. Includes the location of appliances, plumbing fixtures, beams, ceiling heights, etc.
Second Floor Plan (if any): Shows the second floor in the same detail as the main floor. Includes second floor framing and details.
Foundation Plan: Shows the location of all concrete footings, floor beams, first floor framing, and foundation details. If there is a basement, a basement plan is included which shows all basement details.
Floor Framing Plan (if any): Shows location and spacing of floor joists and supporting walls or beams.
Roof Framing Plan: Shows roof outlines, conventional framing/trusses, beams, roof framing details, etc.
Section & Details: Shows a cross-section of the home. Shows support members, exterior and interior materials, insulation, and foundation. Specific details such as fireplaces, stairways, decks, etc. are drawn at 1/2" = 1' scale, and appear as needed throughout the prints.
Clean vertical lines, stone accents and a metal roof combine and create an eye-catching exterior to this one story house plan. At first glance, the floor plan seems simple however the details add to the sophistication of this tiny home.
Stepping inside the foyer is just as open as the great room. A coat closet is nearby to the right and a set of stairs leads down to the unfinished basement. The basement foundation gives homeowners’ the ability to expand the living area of the space if needed.
A fireplace provides some separation between the great room and the hallway to the bedrooms. The great room is completely open with no barriers between the living room, dining room and kitchen. Vaulted ceilings with exposed beams help to make this space feel larger. And on warm days the great room and be completely open to the covered porch as the rear wall incorporates a glass garage door.
The covered porch is ideal for those that love outdoor living. This space is large enough to create an outdoor living room complete with a kitchen!
Back inside, the right side of the home is filled with two bedrooms and a full bathroom. The larger bedroom in the back serves as the master bedroom. This room is large enough for a small sitting area and has private access to the covered porch. Centered between the two bedrooms is a full bathroom complete with large, separate shower and soaking tub.
This cabin plan is ideal for any lot with a view or for those building in the city but are building on a small city lot or long to capture the cabin lifestyle.
