Founded by Dustin Ruholl in 2019, Fine Lines Drafting is a residential design firm rooted in craftsmanship, client relationships, and a deep respect for nature and sustainability. With over a decade of hands-on experience in both the construction and architectural drafting fields, Dustin brings practical insight and artistic precision to every project—ensuring homes are not only beautiful, but also functional and buildable.

Dustin’s journey began in the construction industry, where he worked as a concrete laborer during summers and later returned full-time after studying Auto Mechanics. His passion for design led him back to college to pursue a degree in Building Information Modeling, sharpening his skills in 3D design and rendering. Over the next 12 years, he worked with custom home builders and briefly explored industrial drafting, developing a strong foundation that now supports Fine Lines Drafting's commitment to quality and detail.

At the heart of Fine Lines Drafting is a philosophy built on trust, communication, and ongoing support. Dustin doesn’t consider a job complete when the construction documents are delivered—instead, he remains available to clients and contractors throughout the build phase to answer questions and offer guidance. This hands-on approach has helped establish long-term relationships and a reputation for reliability and care.

From concept through construction, the firm delivers tailored solutions that balance creativity and practicality. In addition, Dustin and his team are passionate about sustainable design, offering environmentally conscious solutions that reduce impact while enhancing comfort and efficiency.
