*Plans are drafted to meet average conditions and building codes in Nebraska, Ohio, and Texas at the time they are designed (contact us for more information). Because codes and requirements can change and may vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction, the designers cannot warrant compliance with any specific code or regulation. All plans can be adapted to your local building codes and requirements. It is the responsibility of the purchaser and/or builder of each plan to see that the structure is built in strict compliance with all governing municipal codes (city, county, state, and federal).

The Bassett is a narrow lot house plan that is sure to be a favorite of both homeowners and builders. Lap siding, tapered columns with stone bases combine to create the charming façade of this Craftsman home plan.
The welcoming front covered porch protects guests year round. Stepping inside the entry, a half bathroom is conveniently located along with a coat closet and pocket office for those that enjoy the ability to work from home. Across from the pocket office is a mud hall that leads to the attached two car garage. A drop zone, bench and laundry room are all part of the mud hall.
The back of the floor plan is filled with the informal living spaces. The L-shaped arrangement of the family room, dining room and kitchen keep the spaces open to one another while creating some separation. The family room has a tall, 10 foot ceiling and features a cozy fireplace. The kitchen separates the dining room from the family room and is bright and open. An island contains the dishwasher and sink along with an eating bar, ideal for serving up quick week day meals or supervising homework. Around the corner is the walk-in pantry along with access to the main floor owners’ suite.
The owners’ suite is decorated with a tray ceiling and a pocket door reveals the private bathroom complete with twin sinks, private toilet and large walk-in closet.
The additional two bedrooms of this three bedroom house plan are on the second floor. Each has its own walk-in closet. The bedrooms share a compartmentalized bathroom with twin sinks.
